This is a great way to reduce your anxiety and stress levels. It is also said to help alleviate certain aches and pains you have. The price is just $10 for a 60 minute class and they are open from 19:00 to 20:00. Not one to be missed!

 

Opera At The Sydney Opera House June 29 - July 23

The Force of Destiny is playing at the Syndey Opera House during most of July. So if you are a fan of Verdi then why not check it out at our famous venue. It is set in 19th century Spain and is about a young noblewoman and her lover’s attempt to elope. This sets off a chain of dramatic events including bitter vengeance, recriminations, wounding and finally death. The stars of the show are Bulgarian soprano Svetla Vassilevea, Italian bass Giacomo Prestia and Tenor Riccardo Massi. But the true star of the show is the visual design by Mark Thompson. Film At The AV Union - Wednesday 24

If you are a fan of Wolfgang Petersen’s 1981 Film titled Das Boot which stars Jurgen Prochnow then why not head down to AV Union in Leichhardt. The doors open at 19:00 and the film starts at 19:30. Entry is by buying membership, either $10 a month or $20 for two months. THis film set the benchmark for suspense films set under water.

Night Out At the Pub??

Baxter Inn is a basement bar lit by candles. It is modelled on an American Irish sports bar. The only thing is that there is no sport! There is room for about 140 people plus there are also little rests around the pillars where you can park your elbows and drinks. The bar stocks 360 different whiskeys and also a collection of ports and wines which are primarily all Australian. The Baxter Inn is open from Monday to Saturday 16:00 - 01:00 and are located in Clarence Street.

 

Music At The Hi-Fi - Wednesday 24

American group Haim are coming to Australia for the first time to play at Splendor in the Grass but to kick off they will be playing at the Hi-Fi on Wednesday. You can see them play some of their hits ‘Don’t Save Me’ & Falling’. It starts at 20:00.
