  1. Beep! Who pays the toll?

    You are billed for any road tolls or penalties you incur. If you’re not using your own pass, choose one of these two methods:
    1. Buy a temporary RTA visitor pass, the EMU PASS, then pay all road tolls as you go.
    2. Use our e-toll solution to pay road tolls, which incur an additional $4.40 processing fee per toll.
  2. Lucky you, we have low insurance excess rates.

    If you put a ding on a standard passenger car, you’ll only pay $990 excess – not $3,000 plus, as you might pay elsewhere. Ask our staff for excess rates on other vehicles, and special driver conditions.
  3. After-hours support for accidents or breakdown

    If you need after-hours support for accidents or breakdown, follow standard procedures. For accidents, call the police (000). For vehicle breakdown or roadside assistance, call Toyota Fleet Management (1800 817 683), and for trucks My Hino (1800 694 466). Then notify us during business hours, on 02 8436 7700.
  4. Cooling-off period for Orana rental

    Driven off in your Orana rental, and not happy for any reason? Just bring the vehicle back within 30 minutes and we’ll give you a full refund.
  5. Wow! Low-priced car rentals, always

    Because of our low overheads and simple fleet choices, we offer car rentals from just $25 per day (for seven-day rentals). You won’t find a reputable deal this low, anywhere in town.
  6. Pedals down! Best truck rental deal

    Free up your business capital; transport your gear in one of our well-equipped, comfy vans or trucks instead. Vans start from $43.50/day, and weekday truck rentals from $82.50/day
  7. No dumb fees

    Relax – with Orana, you won’t pay extra for any of the following:
    • Overseas driver’s licenses fees
    • Additional driver fees
    • High-season fees
    • Premium location fees
    • Administration fees
    • Long distance fees in NSW or ACT

  9. How do we get to your depot?

    If you don’t have a kind-hearted friend who can give you a ride, there are other easy ways to get here:
    • Airport – Call us about our free airport pickup service
    • North Shore – Take Willoughby Council’s free Artarmon Loop shuttle from St Leonards railway station or Artarmon station (weekdays only).
  10. Can we park our car nearby?

    If you’re picking up your rental from our Tempe depot near the airport, park all day at most streets nearby. If you’re picking up from Artarmon on the North Shore, park all day at Reserve Road (other side of freeway).
  11. I’ve never driven a truck, what should I know?

    You can use your standard driver’s license for all of our 4.495-ton Hino trucks. Just take care with those low-clearance parking stations. You should also be aware of at least two underpasses in Sydney the trucks won’t fit under – North and South Terrace in Blacktown and Upper Fig Street in Ultimo.
  12. What documents should I bring if I have an international license?

    We will need to see your license, passport and proof of local address. This can be a hotel booking receipt, rental agreement, bank statement or utility bill from the address you are staying at. If the license is not written in English, you will also need an official translation or International Drivers Permit.
  13. Do I need to pay a deposit?

    We do not charge a deposit if you book online with a credit card, taking payment only when you pick up the vehicle. Please note that if you pay with a debit card, you will also need to pay a $500 refundable bond.
  14. Can someone else pick up the vehicle on my behalf?

    You can arrange for someone to collect the vehicle on your behalf. First, complete a Schedule 3 Authority form prior to pick up, and email it to us with a scan of your credit card and driver’s license. Please contact us for further details
  15. How old do I need to be to rent a vehicle?

    All renters must be aged between 21 and 79, and hold an unrestricted license.
